Nice Critic - Corporate Bullying or Good Fun?
A fellow Twitter-er shared details of a site called Nice Critic a little while ago. It's a site that lets you send an anonymous note to someone informing them of something you aren't comfortable with putting your name to.
Perhaps it's a colleague and you want to tell them they need a few extra sprays of deoderant (as one of my colleagues did to another fellow colleague - I won't name names - but you know who you are) or perhaps you simply want to offer some constructive feedback without hurting their feelings.
Some of the examples of comments on the site include:
- "A breath mint would be beneficial today"
- "It looks like it could be time for a haircut"
- "You seem to have over-applied your makeup today"
I think this site is all in good fun, at least it is in our office, but I'm wondering how many people out there have been really offended by comments they have received anonymously.
Have you ever been a victim of Nice Critic? Is this in the name of good fun or is it encouraging corporate bullying?
Would love to hear your thoughts.
